No Shirts Cause It's HOT!

Hey yo! Not to be confused with yayo! What's up ya'll? We just played at the Schroeder Dance Hall last night. Load in was epically hot! Luckyily they have some a/c in that place when it was show time! I dont know if they would have enjoyed seeing us play a show with our shirts off!

Is it Saturday Night Yet?

What's up everybody! Its St. Patty here. It's been a few weeks since I've posted a blog and I know that everyone is awaiting this so here goes nothing!

We have had a lot on our plates the last few weeks and I was able to gather some footage of it. We had one heck of a run this past weekend going from Abilene to San Angelo to Lubbock. We managed to have the most van break downs since I've been in the band! Luckily I had the handy video recorder by to capture this lovely bit of scenery!

I did it up big and made a music video of Jon Wolfe's "That's Why God Made Saturday Night" Rockin tune! Check it out! And stay tuned for more blogs! Things are about to get crazy!!!

I'm Leaving Stephenville?

Hey ya'll! We had a blast at Bostocks last night in Stephenville TX! Havent had a blog up for a while! We are excited to be releasing Jon's new music video that was shot down at Floores in Helotes TX next week. We are also going to be playing there next week for all of you in the area that want to stop by and make an appearance! Should be a good time!

What's going on everybody? We just got back from playing two great shows this weekend! We had a great crowd at the Firehouse Saloon in Houston, TX! Great to see old friends and make new ones!!! Then we were off to the wonderful east Texas town of Kilgore where we played at the Lonestar Speedway!

It was a first year festival and it was a bit slow but we had a blast! They treated us with great hospitality and we gave them a great show! This is where I was able to capture some great footage! They had a few cars come out and race around the track!

But my favorite part is when Will Knaak was givin the opportunity to drive a big ol' truck! Its worth watching the whole video! Trust me!





Tune in next week! We will be up in Dallas at Toby Keith's I Love This Bar on Friday night and down in Kerrville for a 4th of July festival a bit early! Can't wait!

Does it get better than this??

Howdy ho neighbours! Thanks for coming back and checking out the blog! Last time I left you we were on our way to Albuquerque, NM. And obviously you are going to have to stop at the grave site of Billy the kid! We did just that! Snapped some photos and of course we took some video!





After we bought a few nic nacs and Billy the Kid memorabilia we were on our way to the Dirty Bourbon! We met up with the staff and the opening band called Twisted Road! What a fun place to play! It was absolutely packed in there!

I must say that the ride back from Amarillo was one for the record books! We got to see some rowdy stuff... Very roadblog worthy I must add! Check out this gas station we stopped into. It is a one of a kind! And of course, Red Bull gives you wings!

Not your baby, Will!

We played a festival with Granger Smith and his band this weekend. What a show they put on! I recommend checking them out! Super nice guys! Will and I share a moment together in the back of the van... Its worth checking out. Some might call it cute. We even take a minute to show off the meat platter for the bands in the green room, which isn't even green.

This coming weekend we will be heading to Albuquerque NM to check out the Dirty Bourbon! I havent been across that states line yet! So get ready to chalk up another US State in my books! Gonna be a fun weekend!

Video and Tour Buses!

Well, we had a vigorous week of shows and we recorded the new video to Jon's new Single "It All Happened In A Honky Tonk"! We of course had to get plenty of footage through out the day. We were spoiled finally with the likes of a tour bus. So since we never get to use one, we had to make the most of this day!

We also explore Will Knaak's guitar rig. He gives you the ins and outs of what is going through his mind in guitar world!

The video should be out soon and when it is I will certainly post it up on the blog! Enjoy this randomness that we call fun :)

Its been a while! (Lubbock TX)

Soooo... I may or may not have been slackin on the road blogs! Yikes! Well I am going to throw about 4 episodes down your throats in about a 2 of 3 day span... So get ready to waste your time! We were out in Lubbock TX (home of Buddy Holly of course) a couple weeks back and we had a good ol time at the Wild West.

Dental Hygiene 101!

Hey yo! We made it to Tyler, Texas this week! Had a great show, a great crowd and drank some great beer! I wanna say that we made a huge leap in the amount of followers on the blog this week seeing as we got the whole Dental Class of 2012 on the blog! Thanks for coming out and nominating JW for the best teeth in the biz!

Port A Getaway 2.0

ahhhhh yes! The Port A Getaway! We meet again!!! It was so good to be back! New friends, old friends, country music and beer! What more could you ask for! Oh yeah... Good weather? Hell yeah we got some of that too! We had a great time and I think everyone else did as the Back Porch Bar stayed packed all night long! We have a couple videos this week with no real subject matter. Just a good ol' time! Oh and I sprained my ankle! NICE! Hope ya'll enjoy it!

Lowes and Target! Watch out!

So we ventured our way into a couple of well known retail stores and had a little fun. We had some time to burn today while we waited to do our show... So why wouldnt we go into Lowes and Target to get some bloggin done??? Check out what we accomplish in each one! :)

Pool Parties and Sushi!

So I am a little behind on posting some videos! We are pretty excited about the videos that are going to be out for this week! The first video has to deal with me eating sushi for the first time... It was interesting... probably wont be doing that again. Oh well.



We had a gig on sunday afternoon in Houston Texas. And we also have one in Houston on tuesday so we decided to just stay the day on monday! We met up with some good friends of the band and they let us use their facilities and it was amazing! The Pool, hot tub, house, and food were unreal! Thanks so Much! And here are the videos I promised you I wouldnt post!!! :)

Football, MVP, and Tricycle Races!

So here we are on day two of three on the road up to Oklahoma! We get to the Midnight Rodeo in Tulsa. We got there a little early and the sound company is having to issues with power. So we found our own way to pass some time. Leave it to Nate to bring a football and I got to see Will Knaak show off his arm!



We bring it inside to give out the awards of the day... And as you can see, we are not in shape to be doing this kind of activiy...



And of Course the manager had to bring up that they had a tricycle and a dance floor that resembles a race track... Check it out... I lose a pair of pants and they were my favorite pair... unfortunate, but we salvaged them and made them into a skirt. So any chicks wanna check it out I put them on a bit and modeled a lil bit... (pictures to follow)... (maybe)

Its your Dad II and Gaylord Fauker?

It was an early day at the Wolfe's Layer to depart for Grapevine TX, when Will Knaak and his DAD drove up! As you can see we got some footage of this epic moment in time. ("It's Your Dad" has became a staple inside joke within the band and I recommend that you come out to a show to ask us about this so you're not left in the dark!)

We then got to the Magnificent Gaylord resort and we just had to show it off once we walked through the doors... Although Will introduces it as his own house... It is not... But it is unreal and we decided some people had dropped a few dollars to make this place.

Midnight Rodeo Part 2 w/ Minnesota Friends

It's your dad folks and welcome my family from Minnesota! They came to visit the great state of TEXAS!

We were at midnight rodeo Friday night to do a make up show from when the power went out on a previous episode of St. Patty's Road Blog! Also on this busy weekend we played a wedding in Sonora TX... but I am never to speak of that day! Hope everyone is having a great year so far! Big things happening with in the Jon Wolfe camp! Coupland Adventures. Dancing and Thievery!

We finally made it back to the Coupland Dance Hall after it was shut down and finally reopened. They served us a wonderful meal in their restaurant before the show while we got to listen to Matt Wayne & Co. jam there music!

In lue of this being a dance hall, Will Knaak and myself decided that it would be fitting to do a pre-show dance to get us in the mood!



After we won the crowd over with our stellar performance we turned back stage to start loading out and we ran into this...

Honky Tonkin or It's Your Dad?

Floores Country Store! It's always a blast playin that venue! The nicest people and great food! They probably enjoy me playing there as well because I always buy something from their merch area, Hat and a T-shirt this time! Now we had are old friends from the Brandon Bush Band come back down and open up for us! Check them out! They sound great!

We have about 7 Billion inside jokes in this band. And I will not tell you about them... You can only see the videos that come from them. Harmless fun as Will Knaak and I do a rendition of Jon Wolfe's "It All Happened In A Honky Tonk"... Maybe switchin up the words a tad bit. Check it out!

Blue Bonnets and Bicycles!

We had a one nighter in Abilene, TX. It was one to remember. We took pictures in the middle of fields of glorious Blue Bonnets.

Stopped many a time at Allsups Gas Station, I was able to find a field knife, grenade, and a watch. Only $1.79 for the three pack. We also ate many a chimichanga (sp?). Either way it was amazing.

However the most excitement came on this glorious day of sunshine and low oil... So we had to make a stop at a local oil pub aka Wal-Suck. My trusty Accomplice Will Knaak and myself were able to test drive a bicycle or two.

Texas Independence and Two Steppin!

Today we were in Alice Texas. We had a fantastic showing of fans at our show! Thanks to Bob with the radio station for giving us support!

Ironic Wind Generator/Power Outage

This has to be one of the craziest gigs I've been apart of in a while... As you will see in the video, your host Will Knaak will show you an old windmill that used to generate power for the great Austin area... (Joking of course) But in this same night we were rolling onto our 6th song of the evening and all of a sudden the power went out! They had to cancel the show (after Jon serenaded his fans with a few acoustic songs in the dark).

Super Bowl Sunday!

We played Bostocks last night in Stephenville TX! We had a great crowd! It's always fun coming to a venue with familiar faces! And the number of familiar faces is rising! It's going to be a great year in the Jon Wolfe band! Big things are comin through the pipeline and shows being added to the books! We've got a great crew of guys workin In the band! Will, Matt, Big Rikk Dick Tapley and of course Jon!
